Room Temperature Cured Conductive Paste for
Form-in-Place EMI Gasket

GAMMA -E-Room Temperature Cured Conductive
Paste for Form-in-Place EMI Gasket
Introduction
Gamma Engineering conductive paste could be dispensed onto metal or plastic substrates to provide EMI shielding and grounding function.
The elastomer is cured at room temperature and provides the following benefits to the user:

* High shielding effectiveness: 70-90db up to 10 GHz
* Low compression set
* Room temperature curing
* Flexible for all volume production levels
* Position gasket accurately within a placement tolerance of ± 0.02 mm

It is now widely used for cellular handsets, PC cards, telecom base stations, radios, compartmentalized enclosures and other tightly packaged commercial electronic devices.

Product Information

GAMMA EMI provides conductive particles filled elastomer that could be vulcanized quickly in room temperature (RTV). Dispensed gasket may be handled in 1 to 3 hours, and are fully cured in 24 hours. Curing may be accelerated with additional humidity and temperature. The durable, highly conductive seals have low compression set (<30%), ensuring years of effective EMI shielding and mechanical performance.
The product is designed to support low closure forces and is compatible with various common housing substrates, including

* Cast aluminum alloy.
* Plastic with conductive coatings.
* Metals.
* Stainless steels.
* Plated or chromate finished substrates.

According to different applications, material of substrates, expectation of cost etc. GAMMA EMI offers wide choices of paste to users. Some detailed technical data is listed in the table, below for reference.

Ordering Information

GAMMA EMI paste can be applied in easy to use containers, 30cc, 55cc etc, for gasket application at customer's site. The EMI pastes are compatible with different dispensing machines. Contact our application support group to confirm compatibility.
